Ever since the Northlight posted some blurry images which they claimed to be the rumored 5D Mark IV, the rumor mills are abuzz. It was rumored back in July that an official announcement can happen as early as this August. The date appears to be 27th. Canon has already scheduled a new event for that date named ‘Five Graphy’. The specifications of the new camera, as rumored by different sources, include –
- 30 megapixel sensor
- Canon’s latest DIGIC 7 image processing engine
- ISO 100-51200
- Continuous shooting speed of 9 fps
- 4K native video capability
- Touchscreen functionality
- 61 AF point with 41 of them cross-type

Canon is also rumored to launch the 5D Mark IV with two kit lens options. These are the EF 24-70mm f/4L IS and a yet to be announced EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II.
