It has been a while since the X-T2’s leaked pictures has been making the rounds on the internet. It seems Fuji fans are getting restless, now that they know more or less what the new camera is going to do and what they can expect out of it. People want to know when the X-T2 would be finally launched ‘officially’. It appears that their anxious wait is finally going to be over. Photorumors suggest that the X-T2 is probably going to be officially announced next month.
If the leaked images are to be believed, the X-T2 is going to be mightily close to what the original X-T1 was. However, there are some important changes to the overall design. If the leaked images are to be believed, the X-T2 is going to have a joystick. The rear LCD screen of the X-T1 was tilting. The X-T2’s newly designed screen looks to be of articulating type as well.
There are some more rumored features. The leaked image of the X-T2 seems to suggest that the grip of the camera is a tiny bit larger than the older X-T1. There is another important change. The ISO dial on the older X-T1 went as far as ISO 6400. The new dial seems to suggest that the native ISO will go as far as 12800. The camera will also have native 4K capability. The older X-T1 had only full HD video capability.
This is the magic date as per photorumors.com – July 7th.
